In the May '23 episode of Edmond Voices, our panel discusses the recent attempts at multiple referendum petitions, sports opportunities in Edmond, citizen involvement in the affairs of the City, and Edmond's unfinished projects.

The editorial board discusses the March municipal elections and tries to make sense of what the results say about our city.  Mixed results, partisanship campaigning, and referendum petitions lead to a lively discussion by our members in this edition of Edmond Voices.   

The March 2023 episode of Edmond Voices brings special guest Scot Rigby, Edmond's City Manager, along with The Edmond Way Owners Juder and Rochelle Stidham. Mr. Rigby discusses the upcoming city elections, city charter, and other topics in this 40+ minute podcast.

The February 2023 podcast episode (#14) of Edmond Voices is focused on the upcoming City Council election on April 4, 2023.  The Edmond Way editorial board engages in a lively discussion of the mayoral, Ward 1 and Ward 2 races for City Council.  No endorsements are made during this podcast.   However, highlights and opinions from individual interviews with the candidates are brought forth in this 35 minute episode. 

In our first episode of 2023, our guest is City Councilman David Chapman. David, in his final months on the council, brings us up to date on the Visual Arts Commission, Edmond Transportation Commission, and what is happening in downtown.

The November episode of Edmond Voices brings Derek Smithee with the Edmond Land Conservancy to Studio 46B. Smithee provides insight and an update on the land south of Hafer Park purchased by the City of Edmond after voters approved the purchase in 2021.

The editorial board takes off their editorial hats and offer up facts and personal opinions for a special podcast about the upcoming November 8th elections.  In this podcast, the Governor, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Oklahoma County District Attorney races are discussed by our editorial board members as private citizens involved with Oklahoma politics for decades.

This month's podcast brings Ward 4 City Council member Stacie Peterson to Studio 46B.  Stacie discusses recent activities of the Storm Water Drainage Advisory Board and the Historical Preservation Board, along with other exciting events around town.

Episode 11 of Edmond Voices brings the editorial board together to discuss road construction in Edmond.  Why so much road construction at once? Who pays for it? And even a brief chat about "What really is road construction versus other projects that close a street or lane?"

   

This month our guest is City Councilman Josh Moore from Ward 2 who continues our city council series on "All Things Edmond". 

The topics of discussion for this episode include: city finances; what is happening with our city sports leagues and facilities; and a few other items of interest around town.
