In the Fall of 2022 Oklahoma Christian Academy (OCA) made the bold decision to
take its baseball program year-round, making OCA the only school to play
Fall and Spring baseball in Edmond. OCA plays its home games at Dobson
Field on the campus of Oklahoma Christian University. The state of the
art turf infield and collegiate facilities gives OCA Baseball program
advantages many other baseball programs do not have access too. Playing
over 60 plus games throughout the year OCA brings baseball to the
forefront.

Leading the helm is baseball pitching coach veteran Chance Stevens.
Coach Stevens spent three seasons on the staff at Oklahoma Wesleyan
after finishing his playing career at the school in Bartlesville, OK.
In 2012, Chance was hired as the pitching coach at Oklahoma Christian
University under Head Coach Lonnie Cobble.  During his first season at
OC, two of his pitchers, Cale Coshow and Chris Burgess, were selected in
the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, the first time in school history
that two Eagles were drafted during the same year!

After a decade of coaching at Oklahoma Christian University, Coach
Stevens joined forces with Assistant Coach Zac Cobble in the summer of
2022 to help steer and invigorate the OCA baseball program. The duo
comes off a winning Fall season and kicked off it's Spring season
Monday, March 5th taking home the W against Rush Springs, 16-3. On March
7, the team entered the Crescent Tournament and defeated Blackwell in
the first game, 13-5. Unfortunately, rain persisted ending the
tournament early.  March 15th the team will enter the Union City
Festival. Looking ahead for big things from this team of Brothers!
