Francis Tuttle, AGCOK to offer flexible OSHA safety training

OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 21, 2021 – Francis Tuttle Technology Center and the Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma (AGCOK) Education Foundation are offering Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety training in a flexible format for 2021. Participants may choose from virtual or in-person sessions, beginning Feb. 4.

Enrollment is now open for 10 and 30-hour OSHA safety training, allowing participants up to five months to complete the required sessions. Participants may select classes to attend based upon personal schedules and availability. 

These sessions will cover specific OSHA standards and equip participants to identify, predict and prevent potential hazards in the workplace. Topics include protection from crane hazards, confined space hazards and choosing appropriate protective equipment, among other safety topics. Sessions are held at AGCOK offices at 605 NW 13th Street in Oklahoma City. 

OSHA 10 participants must complete one full-day and one half-day session. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a valid OSHA 10-Hour Card. The cost for the OSHA 10-hour program is $159, or $109 for AGCOK members. 

OSHA 30 participants must complete four full-day sessions. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a valid OSHA 30-Hour Card. The cost for the OSHA 30-hour program is $449, or $299 for AGCOK members. AGCOK will invoice each participant’s company for the cost of the course upon registration.
