Edmond nonprofit U R Special to give new clothing to hundreds of children March 29-30 at its new location

Needy families and children in Edmond are invited to receive free shoes and clothing March 29 from 1-7 p.m. and March 30 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Dayspring Church of Christ.

Edmond-based U R Special proudly invites the public to participate in the annual spring clothing distribution at its new location at the Dayspring Church of Christ. The event will be March 29 from 1-7 p.m. and March 30 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and serves children ages 3-9 who live in Edmond or attend Edmond Public Schools. 

 

U R Special’s mission is to serve families below the Housing and Urban Development poverty line. This is certified at the distributions via an income verification form and a utility bill or current report card to confirm Edmond residency. All children will receive new socks, underwear, t-shirts and shorts. In addition, girls will receive sandals and dresses, and boys will receive athletic shoes.
