The Edmond City Council extended the city's declaration of emergency concerning the COVID-19 pandemic Monday.
The state of emergency now extends through Feb. 28, 2021.
Included in the declaration is strong recommendations for citizens to wear masks and exercise social distancing.
It also extends other practices such as Citylink users maintaining at least 3 feet of distance from others and emphasizes state and federal declarations.
