The Edmond Board of Education Monday approved the renewal of employment contracts for directors, coordinators and principals for the 2024-2025 school year.
The board approved Keith Pautler as Edmond Memorial High School principal; Susan Fulks, Ida Freeman Elementary principal; Josh Williams, Director of Boulevard Academy; and Ansen Covin as girls head cross country coach for Edmond Memorial High School; and approved a new position of Director of Elementary Education.
The school board approved a series of bids for construction/renovation projects including: awarding a bid for Edmond Santa Fe High School Classroom Renovation/HVAC to Dowelll-Pontikos as Construction Manager with subcontractors in the amount of $1,887,012 to be paid from bond funds.
L5 Construction was approved as Construction Manager with subcontractors in the amount of $1,117,291 for Edmond Memorial High School Freshman Academy renovation/ lighting to be paid from bond funds; and the board awarded the bid for Will Rogers Elementary School interior and cabinetry upgrade to Dowell-Pontikos as Construction Manager with subcontractors in the amount of $1,052,736, to be paid from bond funds.
The school also made several recognitions including:
