The Creek Bend Trail is a 16-foot-wide multi-use trail to connect the Spring Creek Trail, on the west side of I-35 Frontage Road a half-mile south of East Second Street, west to Coltrane Road. This trail was included in the 1999 Trails and Sidewalk Master Plan, the Bicycle Master Plan and now in EdmondShift as part of the core trail network. The 1.2-mile trail will be constructed in 2 phases, starting on the west side of Coltrane. The City of Edmond received Oklahoma Department of Transportation’s Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) funding in 2017 of $600,000 for construction of the trail, which is supplemented by City funding of $753,084.
