Edmond Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a suspected murder on Feb. 27.
Crystal Dawn Nichols, 39, is in custody facing a second-degree murder charge related to the death of Eddie Beesley, Jr. Officers responding to a “trouble unknown” call at a residence on Three Stars Road found Beesley lying on a bedroom floor with multiple stab wounds. He died at the scene. Officers said there were signs of an altercation inside the residence.
Police said Nichols was in the residence when officers arrived.
Nichols is the second suspect arrested in connection with the incident. A 16-year-old male was arrested at the scene. He is also charged with second-degree murder.
Nichols is being held at the Edmond jail while awaiting transport to the Oklahoma County Jail.
The investigation is still ongoing.
