National Vietnam War Veterans Day and Quilts of Valor Celebration

The Cordelia Steen Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution will host a Quilts of Valor award presentation for ten Vietnam War Veterans, March 29, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the Edmond Church of Christ, 801 S. Bryant Ave., Edmond, OK.  Entrance and parking on the south side of the building.

 This national holiday was signed into law in 2017 to celebrate the last of the troops withdrawn from Vietnam in 1973. A Quilt of Valor is awarded to a service member or veteran who has been touched by war and unequivocally says “Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation.” Visit https://www.qovf.org/ for more information on the Quilt of Valor.
