Lydia Lee offers a wide variety of experience in a well-diversified law practice, specializing in administrative law, employment, land use and provides legal services to trustees, administrators and staff members of public retirement plans and governmental entities.   Ms. Lee is Of Counsel to the nationally recognized firm of Lieff, Cabraser, Heimann & Bernstein, assisting in the areas of Securities Fraud, governance and fiduciary law.   In addition, Ms Lee serves as an administrative law judge for the Oklahoma Merit Protection Commission and, formerly, for the Oklahoma Department of Labor.
Lee entered private practice of law in 2005, after serving as the General Counsel for the Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System for over nineteen years. She provided advice and legal services to the Board and administrative staff on all issues relating to two qualified defined benefit pension plans, OPERS and the Uniform Retirement System for Justices and Judges, for the Oklahoma State Employees Deferred Compensation Plan (a 457 savings plan) and for the Deferred Savings Incentive Plan. 
Lee is an active member of the National Association of Public Pension Attorneys, and, from 1998 to 2004, served as a member of its Executive Board.  She was elected President of that organization for two terms in 2002-03 and 2003-04. She is currently a member of the NAPPA Emeritus Board and is an Advisor to the Small/Medium Fund Affinity Group.  
Lee is a member of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court and in 2017 was selected as the Outstanding Master Member of the Year.  She is a life-long resident of Oklahoma, and has a long history of civic involvement including service as a member of the Board of Governors for Midwest City Regional Hospital, serving as Chairperson of the Women’s Health Committee and a member of the Physician/Hospital Organization Board and the Pension and Insurance Trust Committees.  She also served as a member of the Midwest City Planning Commission, the Midwest City Capital Improvement Committee, the Airport Zoning Commission (Tinker AFB), the Parkland Review Board and the 1991 Midwest City Legislative Reapportionment Committee.  Ms. Lee has served on the Edmond Urban Board and the Edmond Planning Commission.  She is currently a Director of the Edmond Neighborhood Alliance.

Lee received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma, with a major in Sociology and a minor in Political Science.  She received her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University, School of Law in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She has been a member in good standing of the Oklahoma Bar Association since October, 1983.
